In this photograph of the performance Food for Survival, performed in Helsinki’s Cable Factory in 1993 in collaboration with Marija Grazio, Tolj shows us the drama of Dubrovnik – which during the military aggression on Croatia in the early nineties experienced several months of siege and isolation – from a completely quieted down, private perspective.
