Varying dimensions

The predominant impression left by densely arranged objects in Mladen Stilinovic’s installation Exploitation of the Dead, irrespective of their number, is the impression of momentariness, transitoriness, the possibility of re-arrangement, and extension. The artist blends, supplements, “steals,” and “exploits” other signs at random. He takes them from art, ideology, and religion.
