One of the best-known protagonists of the international art movement Fluxus, French artist Ben Vautier, known as Ben, in the 1990 assemblage entitled Hanging Sculpture with an Accordion (The Song of the Artist Crying for Glory), placed an accordion protruding into space, thus turning a two-dimensional image into a relief – i.e., an object.
