In 2000, in the Museum of Contemporary Art in Zagreb, shortly before his untimely death, Chinese artist Chen Zhen realized his last exhibition, symbolically entitled Six Roots. For his installation Bed II, which was part of the Zagreb show, he used the ready-made technique, giving new life to worn-out objects.
