Hours:

Opening hours of the Museum of Contemporary Art are Tuesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Holidays: closed 

 

TICKET PRICES

EXHIBITIONS

General admission for the permanent collection (three floors + ground floor): €11

(for pupils, students, and senior citizens: €7)

includes the following exhibitions:

– permanent collection “Collection as a Verb” (+ one descent down the sculpture Double Slide by Carsten Höller from the position on the 2nd floor)

– current exhibition in the Black Box exhibition space

– current exhibition from the cycle “Triggers”

– including the programmes, lectures and workshops as part of the permanent collection, the   current exhibition in the Black Box exhibition space, or the exhibitions from the cycle “Triggers”


General admission for the exhibition programmes at the Temporary Exhibition Space (two floors): €9

(for pupils, students, and senior citizens: €7)

– includes a visit to current exhibitions at the Temporary Exhibition Space

– also includes a visit to programmes, lectures and workshops as part of the current exhibitions at the Temporary Exhibition Space

General admission for exhibitions and programmes accompanying exhibitions for a period of 6 months (from the date of purchase): €30

(for pupils, students, and senior citizens: €17)

– current exhibition in the Black Box exhibition space

The ticket is issued in a personal name. The visitors who have purchased a ticket via the system ulaznice.hr are to collect the ticket issued in a personal name at the Museum reception upon presentation of the purchase receipt.


Single family ticket (family with children under 15): €12

Family ticket for the programme MSU BIG AND LITTLE  (family with children under 15): €15

Ticket for the programme MSU ART GAME: €15 for two persons

Ticket for the programme MSU ADVENTURE: €10 per person


Group visit (10 – 30 persons):  €9 per person

Group visit of school-age children and students (10 – 30 persons): €6 per person

Group visit of preschool children: free admission with a fee for expert guidance or a custodian/escort, organised by the MSU  

Group visit and expert guidance for persons with disabilities: free admission with curatorial guidance by the MSU (contact: daniela.bilopavlovic@msu.hr).

Requests for a group visit must be made one week in advance at edukacija@msu.hr.

A 15-minute delay in the group’s arrival is tolerated. If this period is exceeded, the reasons for the delay must be reported to the contact person at the MSU; otherwise, the visit is considered cancelled and will be charged.

One accompanying teacher with a group of up to 30 pupils/children is granted free admission.

– members of the Croatian Writers’ Association (DHK) receive a 20% discount upon presentation of the membership card

– members of the HT Magenta Club receive a 20% discount upon presentation of the digital card

– members of Telegram receive a 20% discount upon presentation of the digital card


FREE ADMISSION TO THE EXHIBITION PROGRAMMES

Persons with disabilities (+ 1 accompanying assistant): free admission

Free admission is granted upon presentation of a valid document: membership card of professional associations, press pass, student card (“iksica”), Zagreb Card, or another document listed below, pertaining to:

– members of professional associations (ICOM, Croatian Museum Association, Croatian Society of Art Historians, Croatian Association of Artists (HDLU), Croatian Association of Artists of Applied Arts (ULUPUH);

– journalists

– students of art history, art academies, architecture, and design

– students of art schools and applied art schools

– in accordance with the contracted project “CULTURAL TUESDAY,” the MSU grants free admission on Tuesdays to all students of the University of Zagreb

– persons with a certificate of temporary protection (e.g., from Ukraine), persons with a certificate of international protection (asylum seekers), persons with a certificate of subsidiary protection (asylum seekers), and persons with a certificate of application for international protection

– unemployed persons, with a certificate issued by the Croatian Employment Service

Every first Wednesday of the month; admission is free for all visitors to the Museum’s exhibition programmes (valid only for individual visits).
