Outputs coming back as inputs – the chain of cause and effect without a clear beginning or end. Signals constantly feeding off each other, weaving a web of mutual relationships. Sound turning into objects, objects turning into space, space becoming meaning. The work evolves from the feedback loop between the body, the technical system and the environment in which meaning isn’t imposed but rather created through interference, dependency and collective presence.
Feedback is a project that investigates the feedback loop as an aesthetic, technical and conceptual principle. By using piezo pickups, amplifiers, and small speakers (transducers) placed directly onto the instruments, feedback loops are established, generating sounds that are typically avoided but here become a central element of musical expression. The project is developed by three authors through a collaborative process of residency and recording, in which feedback is considered simultaneously as a sonic phenomenon and as a model of intersubjective, relational connections.
The work evolves through an exploration of how individual practices can form a shared artistic language. The focus is not solely on sound, but also on a broader understanding of feedback as a model of collaboration, interdependence, and responsibility. The process will be documented in collaboration with Luka Čabo, culminating in a public presentation and a concert at the Richter Collection.
